Inaugural post
Says Webster's dictionary: "August" comes from the Latin word "augustus," meaning "consecrated" or "venerable," which in turn is related to the Latin "augur," meaning "consecrated by augury" or "auspicious." In the spirit of August, here's hoping my first late summer attempts at entering the vaunted blogosphere are indeed auspicious! As of now, the concept of blogging still seems self-indulgent and narcissistic, but hopefully I'll learn to use the medium for good not evil. take care
